Hop Studios is a certified B Corporation founded in 2001 by Travis Smith and Susannah Gardner as one of the Internet's earliest web development pioneers, starting in a Pasadena bedroom and relocating to Vancouver in 2005. With the philosophy "Helping Other People" (HOP), team specializes in serving socially conscious organizations, NGOs, journalism sites, and educational institutions through expert-level Content Management System development, particularly Expression Engine where they've created numerous add-ons and maintained deep expertise since version 1.0. Led by President Travis Smith , Chief Projects Officer Chris Townsend, Operations Manager Tammy Meyers, and Director of Add-on Development Gilbert Lin.
